Today's release of Queensland interstate trade figures show we've taken a bit of a pounding in the past quarter. From December to March, imports have dropped by $1.3 billion (12.9%) and exports by $600 million (12.1%). The biggest decrease was in food and live animals (down 22.3%). These are big changes for a single quarter.
